Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute Scholarship
CHCI scholarships provide recipients with a one time scholarship of: $1,000 community college or AA/AS granting institution, $2,500 4-year academic institution, $5,000 graduate-level institution. Scholarship awards are intended to provide assistance with tuition, room and board, textbooks, and other educational expenses associated with college enrollment.

COS Scholarships
COS Scholarships include the Claudia Romero-Haro Memorial Transfer Scholarship and the Puente Club Scholarship. Claudia Romero-Haro was a Puente student during the 1998-1999 academic school year. Her dedication, motivation, and desire to continue her education, regardless of obstacles, is an inspiration. This scholarship is in her memory. The Puente Club will help build Leadership Skills and create and build a Mentor Networking System. Applicants for both scholarships must apply through the COS scholarship process.

Latina Leadership Network Student Scholarships
The Latina Leadership Network of the California Community Colleges (LLN) will be awarding ten (10) student scholarships of $500 to Latina students currently attending California Community Colleges.

Hispanic Scholarship Fund
Founded in 1975 as a 501©(3) not-for-profit organization, HSF’s vision is to strengthen the country by advancing college education among Hispanic Americans. HSF provides the Latino community more college scholarships and educational outreach support than any other organization in the country.

NAHP Scholarships for Hispanics

Stephen J. Brady STOP Hunger Scholarships
The Stephen J. Brady STOP Hunger Scholarships recognize and reward students who have made a significant impact in the fight against hunger.

National Society of Hispanic MBAs

The Geneseo Migrant Center administers a variety of scholarships to offer financial assistance to migrant students who want to further their education.

Lambda Theta Nu Sorority Latina Scholarship

Mexican American Legal Defense and Educational Fund Scholarship
Each year MALDEF awards numerous law school scholarships to deserving students entering their first, second or third year of law school.

National Association of Hispanic Nurses Scholarship
Promoting Hispanic nurses to improve the health of our communities.

American Association of Colleges of Nursing Minority Nurse Faculty Scholarship
Designed to increase the number of minority faculty teaching in California nursing schools.

USA Funds Scholarships
The program will award scholarships of $1,500. The scholarships may be renewed annually, if the student maintains a 2.5 grade-point average on a four-point scale, until the continuously enrolled student receives a final degree or certificate, or until the total award to the student reaches $6,000.

Automotive Hall of Fame Scholarships
The Automotive Hall of Fame serves as administrator to over $20,000 in combined college scholarships annually. The applicant must indicate a sincere interest in an automotive related career.

HENAAC Scholarships
All engineering, material science, applied science, computer science & math majors qualify for the HENAAC Student Leadership Scholarship. Many of the additional corporate sponsored scholarships have specific majors they are looking for.

Davis-Putter Scholarship Fund
The Davis-Putter Scholarship Fund provides grants to students actively working for peace and justice. These need-based scholarships are awarded to those able to do academic work at the university level and who are part of the progressive movement on the campus and in the community. Early recipients worked for civil rights, against McCarthyism, and for peace in Vietnam. Recent grantees have been active in the struggle against racism, sexism, homophobia, and other forms of oppression; building the movement for economic justice; and creating peace through international anti-imperialist solidarity.

American Association of Law Libraries Scholarships
The American Association of Law Libraries is committed to providing opportunities for professional growth. Each year, the Association awards scholarships in significant amounts to assist individuals in achieving their goal of becoming a law librarian. Minorities are particularly encouraged to apply.

Latino Initiatives for the Next Century Scholarships

Association for Women in Architecture Scholarships
The Association for Women in Architecture – Los Angeles, through its Foundation, offers annual cash awards to women students studying Architecture, Landscape Architecture, Urban and/or Land Planning, Interior Design, Environmental Design, Architectural Rendering and Illustrating, Civil, Electrical, Mechanical or Structural Engineering and leading to a college degree.

USC Mexican American Alumni Association Scholarship
The scholarship is for students pursing Undergraduate and Graduate (Masters Candidates Only) degrees at USC and who have demonstrated a strong commitment to the Latino/Hispanic community.

Comision Femenil de Los Angeles

A scholarship workshop offered to high school, college, university, or vocational students that includes an overview of the CFLA process, essay preparation, interview skills, and a question and answer session. Women’s Transportation Seminar

WTS offers scholarships for undergraduate ($2,000) and graduate ($3,000) female students with minimum 3.0 GPA who major in transportation-related fields, such as transportation engineering, planning, finance, or logistics.

Governor’s Opportunity Scholarships

Awards for five California women who wish to pursue careers in business, education, health care, law enforcement/public service, or mathematics/science. One scholarship awarded per category. Awards must be applied to a related academic or work program in an accredited California institution. Applicants must be U.S. citizens or permanent residents and a California resident with a cumulative minimum 3.3 GPA. Applicants must contact agency for a scholarship application. To request an application, mail a self-addressed, business-size envelope with $.55 postage to the address below.
